About Frito

Meet Frito - A Young Survivor with a Heart Full of Love Frito may have had a rough start in life, but you would never know it from his cheerful, loving personality. This handsome one-year-old boy spent time surviving outdoors, and unfortunately contracted FIV during his life on the streets. Despite that, Frito hasn't let his past dim his spirit one bit. Frito is an incredibly friendly cat who loves people and is always ready to share affection. He's a true snuggle bug who enjoys curling up close and soaking up all the pets and attention he can get. His sweet nature makes it easy to fall in love with him. At just a year old, Frito still has plenty of kitten energy. He loves to play, explore, and have fun, balancing his playful side perfectly with his affectionate one. Whether he's chasing a toy or cuddling up for a nap, Frito is happiest when he's spending time with his people. FIV-positive cats can live long, happy, healthy lives, and Frito is a wonderful example of that potential. All he needs now is a loving home where he can leave his outdoor days behind and enjoy the safe, comfortable life he deserves. If you're looking for a sweet, resilient companion with lots of love to give, Frito is ready to steal your heart. Frito is a short hair orange tabby who is current on vaccinations, is neutered and is microchipped. Our adoption fee for one altered adult cat (1 year to 7 years old) is $85 which helps cover expenses (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchips, food, housing) for the homeless pets United Animal Friends rescues. There is a discounted adoption fee for a second cat that is adopted at the same time. If you have any questions or to adopt a cat from United Animal Friends (UAF) an application must be filled out. Filling out this form does not obligate you to adopt, but gives us the information needed to make sure the pet is suited to your home. From the Petfinder website (Petfinder.com) click the 'More About Us Button' and then click on the 'Adoption Application' button that will take you to the United Animal Friends website. Then follow the UAF website directions below: From the United Animal Friends website: Select "Adoptable Cats" and pick the cat you are interested in. To apply to adopt, open the cat's profile, and click the gray "Apply for Adoption" button to get started. The fastest way to get to the adoptable cat page is to copy and then paste this link into your browser: https://unitedanimalfriends.org/adoptable-cats/ A United Animal Friends representative will contact you soon after receiving the application form.
