At just 6 pounds and 3 years old, this adorable Yorkie has spent the last several months learning that life can be safe, happy, and full of love. Coming from a backyard breeding and hoarding situation, Coco didn't always know what it meant to be cherished. Thanks to her amazing foster family and lots of patience, she has completely blossomed into the sweetest little companion you could imagine. Coco is looking for a family that wants a true best frienda tiny shadow who will happily follow you from room to room, curl up beside you on the couch, and shower you with kisses whenever given the opportunity. She doesn't want to be a dog who spends her days outside or alone. She wants to be part of the family and involved in all of life's adventures. While she may take a moment to realize new adults are safe, once she trusts you, that's ityou have a friend for life. In fact, Coco's favorite way to meet strangers is by climbing directly into their lap and offering kisses as a peace treaty. It's impossible not to fall in love with her gentle, affectionate nature. Coco adores other dogs, loves cats, and is wonderful with children. She truly believes everyone she meets has the potential to be her newest best friend. Her happy place is wherever her people are, whether that's running errands, visiting friends, taking a walk, or simply relaxing at home. After a difficult beginning, Coco is finally ready for the forever home she deservesone filled with love, companionship, and people who understand that the best things in life often come in very small packages. Coco is working on house training but is pee pad trained, crate trained, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, on flea, tick and heart worm prevention, spayed and so much more!
