Hi! I'm Sarie--and I'm basically your future best friend wrapped in fur. I LOVE people. Like... all people. Big ones, small ones, everyone. If you have hands, I assume they're for petting me, and I will happily accept that job. I'm also a pretty fun girl to be around. I've been told I'm kind of hilarious (I agree). I love toys--especially tennis balls--and I take my responsibilities very seriously... like carrying a tennis ball with me on walks at events. Important work. Walks are one of my favorite things... although I should warn you, I can be a little ridiculous on them. I'm a big fan of turning my leash into a tug-of-war game, because honestly, why walk in a straight line when you can make it interactive? The good news is, I still walk well on leash even when I'm feeling playful and busy tugging--I just like to keep things interesting. I also do really well with other dogs and enjoy having friends to hang out with. I recently raised a litter of puppies, so I still have a bit of that "mom energy" in me--especially when it comes to younger pups. I'm sweet, patient, and a little nurturing... but don't worry, I still know how to have fun. Now I should probably be honest with you... crates are not my favorite thing. I will politely (and sometimes not-so-politely) protest if I'm put in one before I've had a full day of fun and attention. I just really love being with my people and don't always understand why I have to take a break when there's still love to give. I do need an active home with someone who wants a true personal sidekick--someone who's ready for a dog that wants to be part of everything you do and go on adventures right by your side. Mostly, I just really love my humans. I want to be near you, hang out with you, make you laugh, and maybe steal your attention (and my tennis balls) whenever possible. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick, a goofy best friend, and a girl who will love you with her whole heart... that's me. 🐾
