AvailableAbout Mina
Meet Mina. This sweet girl may not be a Scout’s Honor dog, but she’s truly deserving of a spotlight, courtesy of Friends of BARC. At just a year and a half, Mina has already faced more challenges than many dogs will ever know. She has a neurological disability that gives her a wobbly walk and some adorable quirks, but those traits are part of what makes her so special. Mina doesn’t see herself as different; instead, she wakes up each day excited to love, play, and embrace life. Her spirit is infectious, and her affection for other dogs makes her the perfect candidate for a playful canine sibling. Watching her frolic is a joy that never gets old. While Mina has some unique needs—in particular, she struggles with potty training—she simply requires a patient, understanding home that sees the incredible dog underneath. She longingly desires a soft bed, a loving family, and someone to assure her how perfect she really is. Adopting a dog like Mina might not be for everyone, but there’s surely someone out there whose heart is big enough to embrace her wobbly walk, silly quirks, and boundless love. Mina deserves a chance, and she’s in search of a foster or forever home that recognizes her true worth. If you’re interested in fostering or adopting Mina, please reach out for assistance in connecting with the Friends of BARC team. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
