Truffles is an adorable 4-month-old puppy who we believe is a Goldendoodle or Labradoodle mix with the sweetest personality and so much love to give. Truffles came to us as an owner surrender after her family realized their housing situation was not suitable for a growing puppy. Pets were not permitted, and they were unprepared for how big she would get. Despite this change, Truffles has remained a happy, loving girl who is ready to find her forever family. She currently weighs 20 lbs and is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog, likely around 50 lbs full grown. Truffles is truly a lovebug. She is affectionate, friendly, and loves being around people. She does great with everyone she meets, including children, making her a wonderful fit for many different households. Like any puppy, Truffles is still learning and would benefit from continued training and structure. She can pull on leash during walks, so her future family should be committed to helping her build good habits. The good news is we partner with a wonderful trainer who helps support many of our rescue dogs. Truffles also has some adorable quirks. She may just be a little water mermaid she absolutely loves baths. While we havent tested her in a pool yet, we think theres a good chance shell love water adventures too. She would also make an amazing hiking buddy or outdoor companion for an active family who loves adventures. Truffles is up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and vet checked. She is not spayed yet, but her spay will be covered by our rescue when she is old enough in the coming months. Her adopter will need to bring her back for her spay appointment as part of the adoption agreement. We are looking for a committed adopter or foster-to-adopt home ready to continue guiding this sweet girl as she grows. Truffles has so much potential and will make an incredible companion for a lucky family.
