Miss Mantis is such a fantastic girl! She is a favorite amongst our volunteers due to her sweet demeanor, easy going and yet playful personality. She loves being outside and going on walks, but won't hesitate to curl up with you on the couch. She is EXTREMELY smart. While, she is big and small dog friendly, as well as kid friendly, she prefers a more quiet home - she can get stressed with too much chaos. OUR DOGS ARE FOSTERED IN TEXAS BUT AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION AND TRANSPORT OUT OF STATE. Read below for more information. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Raising The Bar Animal rescue direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc). Our out of state adoption fee is $175 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days of departure.
