What? Oh, Im Odie, a black and white girl, one of two females of a litter of four who were born to a stray momma cat who came to a home in Lake City. I am named after the dog in the Garfield comics. Uh-oh! I am nervous in new places. I was the most cautious of the bunch and have often been the last kitten in the litter to come out of a hiding place to try something new. Ta-da! Now that I have settled in, I have gained confidence, and I am much braver. Now I run around the room with the others, climbing cat towers, leaping up on countertops to help with whatever people are doing! I like getting attention from people. Good things take time and patience. I may be a bit of a fraidy cat when I first get to my new home, but if you are the kind of person who can be gentle and understanding, I will settle in comfortably and will be a happy girl.
