Meet Eggie! Eggie returned to the care of HSCC when his guardians' lifestyles changed and they were no longer able to care for him. Eggie is a Bracco Italiano x Field Spaniel mix, and at 8 years old, he's our resident silver (brown) fox! He's looking for a loving home he can live out his golden years in. He is the embodiment of a true gentleman: he knows how to respectfully ask for more pets using his paws, he is content to curl up on a bed and keep you company during down-time, and his leash manners are top-tier. His love language is definitely quality time: wherever you go, Eggie is happy to follow! With this boy, you're getting the best of every world: an adoring companion to be your shadow, a partner-in-crime for all sorts of shenanigans, and emotional support at the end of a hard day. Eggie has the sweetest demeanor, and is thoughtful and introspective. Due to his sensitive nature, he can struggle with younger children who move unpredictably or might startle him.
