Sully is a handsome Aussie Mix, about 30lbs with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. He and his mom and siblings were rescued from rural Kentucky, where they had very little human interaction before coming into rescue. Because of his early experiences, Sully can be quite shy when meeting new people and exploring new situations. But with a little patience and understanding, you'll discover one of the sweetest, most affectionate dogs around. Once Sully feels safe and trusts his person, his loving personality shines through. He enjoys being close to his people and forms strong bonds with those who give him the time he needs to come out of his shell. Sully is a smart boy and a quick learner. He already understands his crate and potty routine and is doing wonderfully with his house training. He is crate trained and exceptionally quiet in his crate, often choosing it as his safe space when he needs a break. This calm, easygoing pup gets along well with children and other dogs. Sully isn't interested in dramaif things get a little too exciting around him, he'll simply retreat to his crate and wait for the commotion to pass. Once he's comfortable and confident, he does well walking on a leash and enjoys spending time with his trusted people. Sully would thrive in a patient, loving home that understands shy dogs and is willing to let him adjust at his own pace.
