Since settling into her foster home, Brenda has been thriving. She's calm, affectionate, and genuinely easy to be around. She'll rest her head in your lap, roll over for belly rubs, and quietly entertain herself with a Kong when you're busy. She's a shelter volunteer favorite, and it's easy to see why. Brenda has made her crate her personal retreat, wandering in on her own even when the door is open and sleeping through the night without a fuss. She's potty trained and fits right into a daily routine. On walks, she's a gentle leash partner with no reactivity toward other dogs. She knows sit, down, paw, and leave it, and picks up new things quickly when treats are involved. She also loves car rides, is a trooper at bath time, and keeps her cool even during a big thunderstorm. Brenda is currently living happily with a 13-pound poodle after slow introductions, and the two have become real companions. She's flexible and low maintenance, happy to share a home with another dog or soak up all the attention herself. When the mood strikes, she loves fetch and has a genuine enthusiasm for toys.
