Meet Gretchen — your new adventure buddy! Gretchen is a joyful, high-energy girl who’s been patiently waiting for her forever home since 11/19/24. She’s always ready to go — whether it’s a run, hike, or a game of fetch in the yard. With her playful, "black lab–like" personality, she’ll thrive in an active home that can keep up with her zest for life. She’s dog-friendly and loves a rough-and-tumble play style, making her a great match for another playful pup. Gretchen is also incredibly affectionate — a total hug machine who leans in for pets, nuzzles for attention, and takes treats gently. In her foster home, she’s proven to be fully house trained, non-destructive, and great with toys. She knows "sit," "paw," and "up," and is eager to keep learning (especially if treats are involved!). She’s still working on leash manners, but with consistency, she’ll get there in no time. If you’re looking for a fun, loving, and active companion, Gretchen is your girl.
