Franz is a handsome, medium-energy boy with a genuinely sweet and loving heart. He greets you with loose, wiggly excitement, and once he’s outside, his softer side really begins to shine. While he can be a little alert at first, Franz does a great job of settling in when given some space, patience, and reassurance—showing just how gentle and affectionate he truly is. In his day-to-day routine, Franz is both potty trained and crate trained, making him a wonderful and easy addition to a home. He’s very treat-motivated, which makes him fun to work with and eager to learn new things. He enjoys going on walks, taking in his surroundings, and spending quality time with his people—whether that’s exploring or simply soaking up affection. Franz has done well interacting with other dogs both in the shelter and in his foster home, showing that he can be a great companion for a home with another pup or as a solo dog.
