Lucy is a stunning white Turkish Angora mix with a story of resilience and hope. Estimated to be between 1 and 2 years old, Lucy was found frozen with terror on the streets of Amman, Jordan, where life as a stray had clearly taken its toll. Fortunately, one of our rescue partners was able to safely capture her and rush her to a veterinarian for care. Lucy had already been spayed but did not have a microchip. It quickly became apparent that she had once belonged to someone-her luxurious coat was soft and well cared for, and despite everything she had been through, she remained incredibly affectionate. Efforts were made to locate her owner, but no one ever came forward to claim her. Today, Lucy is ready to leave her past behind and find a family that will cherish her forever. She has the sweetest little chirpy squeak instead of a traditional meow and loves nothing more than curling up beside her people, purring contentedly while soaking up attention. She doesn't mind being picked up and enjoys being close to her humans. Lucy also takes great pride in her appearance and keeps her beautiful white coat immaculate.
