All dogs and cats are fostered in volunteer homes with retirees, or with working families, kids and teenagers, other dogs and sometimes cats too. When your application is approved, we put you in touch with the foster for FaceTime so you can see your puppy in real time and ask questions. It's a process that's worked for hundreds of dogs over the past fifteen years. All dogs and cats are fully vetted prior to adoption. Spayed/neutered, age appropriate vaccines, microchip, dewormed, parasite prevention. Any medical issue that was treated is fully disclosed. All dogs and cats come with medical records. There is lots of room to write on the application. Please tell us about yourself, and your pets, current or previous. Oreo was adopted from the Shelter by a college student when he was eight weeks old and now the school is out, and the guy is relocating, he wanted to return Oreo to an overcrowded shelter. A family member stepped up to Foster to give this sweet boy a chance. Oreo lives in a Foster Home with an older working couple and a few dogs, medium size and small breeds. He's doing great in the Foster Home, he walks well on a leash, but he does need someone willing to keep up his house training and frequent trips to the yard. Lab mixes and Lab breeds drink a lot of water.. Oreo is estimated to be over seven months old and less than a year, and he's about 35 pounds right now. We expect him to be a medium size good looking dog. Transportation is included in the total adoption fee. We have to pay for every animal that we send North on Transport.
