Theres no adjustment period or hiding under the bed with her. She loves everyone she meets and is always ready to make a new friend. While Willas story didnt start out easy, youd never know it from her incredible spirit. She was found completely alone in an apartment complex, likely abandoned. One of our dedicated volunteers returned multiple times in an effort to find and rescue her. When we finally got her to safety, it was clear she needed urgent veterinary care. Her tail had been severely injured, causing the tissue to die, and amputation was the only humane option. Despite everything she endured, Willa hasnt let her past define her. She remains one of the happiest, most loving, and resilient cats weve ever met. She greets each day with curiosity, confidence, and a desire to be loved.
