Originally found as a friendly stray, Tuff quickly won over staff with his playful spirit, love for splashing around in the shelter's water park, and easygoing nature with both people. He was adopted and left weighing a healthy 80 pounds, but nearly a year later, Tuff was heartbreakingly found stray again-this time in devastating condition, weighing just 40 pounds and suffering from pressure sores, an ear infection, and severe emaciation after losing half his body weight. Despite everything he endured, Tuff's spirit never broke.
