COMING SOON! Summer is a 1-year-old Domestic Shorthair mix who was found by a Good Samaritan with her litter of seven kittens. She has been a devoted mom, and is now beginning to settle into life as an indoor cat as she transitions out of motherhood. Once she has finished nursing and is fully weaned, she will be scheduled for her spay. Summer is already microchipped, current on vaccines, and will be ready for adoption once she has recovered from her surgery. During her intake exam, Summer was a bit shy and scared, but she allowed gentle pets and quickly showed her sweet, affectionate side. She may do best in a calm, cat-savvy home without small children, where she can continue to build confidence at her own pace. She has been around other cats but has not been exposed to dogs. We are seeking an indoor-only home for Summer where she can feel safe and loved. Once she is spayed and ready, she will be available for adoption.
