I am a purebred Bouvier des Flandres (AKC) that was surrendered because my original family was moving and unable to take me with them. I was returned to my breederin TX, where I was then adopted by an elderly man in MI. After wo weeks, it was decided that I was too much for the elderly man to handle. He didn't have a fenced in yard and I could only go out on a leash, therefore, I was unable to get proper exercise or freedom. I am looking for a family that preferrably has been owned previously, or currently, by another Bouvier. Regretfully, I do not know how to play with toys, nor am I interested in dog treats. I am very well trained and obedient. I get along great with people, older children and other dogs. As is the case with most Bouviers, I do not get along well with cats. I walk great on a leash and ride well in a car. After all, I was transported from TX to MI in a vehicle with no problems. I am very alert and fairly cautious when meeting people. I have to be properly introduced to strangers, they can not force themselves on me. i was a perfect gentleman at the vets and for grooming. I am completely house trained, UTD on all vaccinations, heartworm negative, crate trained and microchipped. I am well behaved and a super lover once I get to know you. I love pets, hugs and kisses. I am great with young adults, but shouldn't be left unsupervised with young children due to my size. I am very smart and very eager to please and would make a fantastic addition to any loving family.
