Hi there! My name is Kira, I am a 5 year old, female, German Shepard and I'm at the Santa Maria Campus. I am a big lover and enjoy tummy rubs and cuddle time (I will definitely try to sneak in a few kisses, too). I have lived with other dogs before, but I do better with a slow introduction just so I can feel more comfortable. I love my yard time, but I do good on walks too! I will definitely benefit from some additional training, but I do well and am a quick learner! Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.
