At first glance, there's nothing “spectacular” about Shaggy. He's not covered in spots. He doesn't have striking blue eyes or a flashy coat. If he did someone probably would have scooped him up immediately. He's just another black Pittie who found himself sitting in a shelter, waiting and hoping someone would notice him. But here's the thing about Shaggy ... His personality is all the colors of the rainbow. Before arriving at Animal Control as a stray, Shaggy was reported to be wonderful with his finder, friendly with other dogs, and simply a happy, lovable guy who enjoyed being part of the world around him. Shaggy just took his freedom ride out of PCAC! We're excited to get to know this sweet boy and show everyone that a dog's worth isn't measured by how flashy they look—it's measured by the love they have to give. And Shaggy has plenty of that. Here's to not judging a book by its cover. Welcome sweet boy!
