Looking for a pup who is as brave as he is handsome? Then meet Pancake: The Perfect Blend of Fluff and Confidence. Rescued from a hoarding situation, this pup is such a social butterfly and absolutely joyous. At just 4.5 months old, **Pancake** is already showing off a wonderfully steady, self-assured personality. He isn't easily fazed by the big wide world. Instead, he approaches life with a happy tail wag and a totally relaxed, easygoing attitude. He is a dog who loves *everyone* and is truly a people pleaser who absolutely adores human attention. Whether you're hanging out in the yard or relaxing inside, he wants to be right there by your side, flashing you that iconic, happy, pink-tongued smile. Pancake is incredibly friendly and gets along beautifully with other dogs. He has great social cues and would love a home with a playful canine brother or sister to show him the ropes--though he has plenty of confidence to shine as an only dog, too! Like any young pup, Pancake is still a student of the world, but he is **working on all his puppy manners and learning like a champ!** He's at the perfect age to absorb everything you teach him. He is progressing well with housetraining and is already crate trained. With his steady confidence and eagerness to please, he is bound to be the star student of his future training sessions. Pancake is a Pyrenees mix, so he's going to be a big, sturdy boy! He would thrive in a home ready to continue his basic puppy training and give him plenty of guidance as he grows and good knowledge of the care needed for his breed mix. If you're looking for a loyal, confident companion who will bring a mountain of love (and fluff) into your life, Pancake is ready to pack his bags! This requirement is for your benefit and your puppy's, so if you experience behavioral issues, you have a point of contact. PLEASE--Think long and hard before adopting a puppy. Consider the lifestyle change this puppy will come with. He cannot be crated for more than 3-4 hours until he's older. Puppy-proofing your home will be necessary. Puppies scratch and nip, so if you have small children, can they handle this? Training will be so crucial in this puppy's life. Do you have the time? IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Our dogs reside in various locations throughout the South and New England. Adoption donations cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary. Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher.
