Kalito is a charming chunky black cat that suddenly showed up last fall to one of our managed colonies in Jamaica. He had a voracious appetite and seemed to be feral, waiting outside his caretakers door for food but running away once the door was opened and not coming back to eat until his caretaker went back inside. He was soon trapped to be TNRed and once in the trap Kalito quickly changed his tune. He started meowing and asking for pets! Once he was released after recovering from his neuter instead of running off into the distance like most cats do, Kalito walked out of his trap and turned right around and sat next to his caretaker! Since that day, Kalito took over that colony and rarely ever left the yard. Every time someone opened the back door, Kalito was there at their feet meowing and rubbing against their legs or rolling around to show off his big fluffy belly. Now Kalito loves to lounge indoors with his foster! You can find him with his fluffy belly still up, waiting for the love and attention he craves all day. Kalito is up to date on his vaccines and is neutered.
