Maramalaide's foster mom says:<br/><br/>&quot;Mamalaide is a very special lady with a special story: she actually adopted a litter of day-old kittens, nursed and raised them as if they were her own! Not only is she a hero and an exceptional mother to her kittens, she is sweet, warm and accepting towards humans, too! Mamalaide has been living in a loving foster home with a large family that includes children. She is accustomed to lots of activity and attention, and seems to prefer humans to other animals. She is a very beautiful &quot;Torbie,&quot; or a mix between a tabby and a tortoiseshell. Her coat is gray/brown and striped like a tabby, with patches of bright orange that really pop in the right light. Our favorite part about Mamalaide is her chirps and trills! That's how she calls to and communicates with her kittens. Although we will miss her, Mamalaide is ready to find her forever home. She would love to be adopted along with her adopted baby, Allie!
