Honey is a 3 year old Shih Tzu with the cutest face. She's very friendly and she likes other dogs. She weighs 11 lbs. Honey may look like a brand-new girl now, but when she arrived she was covered in painful mats that had to be carefully shaved and cut out. Through the entire grooming process, Honey was an absolute angel. She sat patiently, trusted her handlers, and showed everyone just how sweet and gentle she truly is. Now that shes feeling so much better, Honey is ready to start the next chapter of her life with a family of her very own. She has a heart as sweet as her name and deserves a home where she'll never have to worry about being uncomfortable again. Come meet Honey at our adoption event at the Merriam PetSmart on Saturday! ADOPTING A DOG Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older). If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match. We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
