ALSO THIS WEEKEND: SATURDAY, JUNE 20 from 12-3PM: DOG ADOPTION EVENT at the OLATHE PETSMART at 119th & Strang Line with volunteers from Heart of America Humane Society. SUNDAY, JUNE 21: OPEN 10AM - 3PM, NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED! KCK Animal Services is located at 3301 Park Drive, KCK. ----------- LYRA is the sweetest little girl! She's a playful 6-month-old puppy who loves her stuffie toys-- she carries them around so proudly. Lyra is very affectionate and loves people. She's good with other dogs. Lyra currently weighs 30 lbs. She's cute as can be with a matching personality! ADOPTING A DOG Our dogs have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and tested for heartworms (if 7 months or older). If you have a dog or children we ask that you bring them with you to meet our dogs to make sure it is a good match. We are open for meet and greet adoptions at our shelter on weekends. No appointment is necessary for weekend adoptions. Our weekend hours vary and we also have satellite adoption events every weekend.
