When Palmer first came inside for his evaluation, he was excited and a little all over the place as he took in his surroundings. Once he had a chance to settle, however, his sweet nature really shined through. He can be a bit nervous around sudden or fast movements, but he recovers nicely and continues to build confidence as he learns the world is a safe place. Palmer is wonderful with pets, and squeezes and hugs alike and enjoys spending time with people. His affectionate nature and desire to connect make him a rewarding companion for a family willing to continue helping him grow and learn. He can be vocal when he's outside in his kennel because he doesn't want to miss out on the excitement around him, but once indoors, he settles down nicely and enjoys being with his people.
