MY AGE: 8 years WEIGHT: 16 lbs. MY STORY: Vlad came to us from an Alabama shelter after being found as a stray. While we don't know much about his past, we are looking forward to helping him write a much brighter future. Our groomer believes that Vlad may be a purebred Schnauzer, and he certainly has the distinguished look to match. Vlad is an older gentleman who seems genuinely grateful to be safe and cared for. With so much change happening in a short period of time, he has handled everything remarkably well. Yesterday, he spent much of the day relaxing on a soft blanket while we worked at the facility, content to simply rest and enjoy the comfort he may not have had for quite some time. Today, Vlad was neutered and is beginning the next chapter of his journey with us. As he settles in and becomes more comfortable, we look forward to learning more about his personality, preferences, and what makes him happiest. For now, Vlad appears to be a sweet, gentle soul who appreciates a warm bed, a little kindness, and the chance to take life at a slower pace. We will continue to post updates as we get to know this handsome gentleman better.
