Fern was born on 4/26/2026 to her lovely mama Charlotte, and she has been happily growing up in a foster home where she has perfected all the important kitten skills: playing, pouncing, looking adorable, and causing tiny, reasonable amounts of chaos. She is sweet, silly, and very ready to bring her little sparkle into a family of her own. Fern has the energy of a kitten who read the assignment and added glitter. She is fun, social, and always up for a good adventure, whether that means chasing toys, wrestling with imaginary enemies, or dramatically flopping down like she just completed a very demanding workday. Fern is going to make a wonderful addition to a lucky family looking for laughs, love, and a tiny supervisor with very strong opinions about playtime. ADOPTION INFORMATION HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: - Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. - Fill out an online application to adopt by clicking here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HORI/Cat - We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. - We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
