Meet Petunia, a friendly, affectionate girl! Her previous owners say she loves spending quality time with her people and is always happy to be part of whatever you're doing. Whether she's following you around the house, exploring a new corner, or soaking up attention, Petunia is happiest when she's with her favorite humans. This curious kitty enjoys checking out her surroundings, but her absolute favorite time of day is dinner time! If treats or meals are involved, you can count on Petunia to be first in line. Petunia has lived with another cat before and did well, although her feline roommate wasn't quite as enthusiastic about the friendship. Because of this, we recommend a slow introduction to any resident pets to help everyone settle in comfortably. If you're looking for a sweet, social companion who will fill your home with love and keep you company through every adventure (especially the ones that end in snacks), Petunia may be the perfect match for you! Change is hard for this cat. This cat will be very nervous when you first bring them home. You will need to set up a room with a litter box, food, and water. It will take days for this cat to become comfortable and confident in the new home. This cat will be going home with a behavior plan that will need to be followed in order for everyone to transition successfully. Ready to Adopt? You have two options: #1- VISIT IN PERSON Come during our open adoption hours: Tuesday - Saturday,12:30 - 3:00pm. You'll be able to meet available cats in the shelter.
