Meet Musubi, an adorable 4-year-old French Bulldog with the funniest, goofiest little personality. She loves walks, zoomies, toys, playtime, and being near her people. Musubi absolutely loves other dogs and enjoys playing, but she would also be perfectly happy as an only dog soaking up all the attention. She is potty trained, knows basic commands, and is crate trained at night. Musubi came to California Bully Rescue after being surrendered by her previous family. Our understanding is that she was being bullied by another dog in the home, and when they reached out to the rescue she originally came from, they were unable or unwilling to take her back. We were happy to step in as she had a foster advocating for her and make sure she had a safe place to land. She is affectionate, but on her terms. Musubi is not the kind of dog who wants to be constantly held or crowded, but once she feels comfortable, she is incredibly sweet and loves attention, ear scratches, belly rubs, and cuddles. She appreciates respectful introductions and a little space at first, so her ideal people will let her come to them instead of forcing affection right away. Musubi loves her walks, but she is a strong little girl and can pull when she gets excited. She is already improving and will continue to do great with patience and consistency. She would do best with older kids, 12 and up. She can get very excited during playtime, sometimes plays a little rough, and tends to get overly focused on younger kids because she wants to follow them around and be involved in everything they're doing. Overall, Musubi is a wonderful, goofy, playful girl who just needs people who understand her boundaries, give her a little patience in the beginning, and love her for the silly Frenchie queen she is!
