About Maxo

Meet Maxo ACCT-A-244867! A 13 year-old mature chunky senior kitty who has been here at ACCT before. Maxo was brought in as a owner surrender on 6/16. Maxo is very selective on who he decides deserves his love and attention. He needs a calm, patient, and experienced human who gives him space when he needs it. Maxo is an indoorsy type of guy and a certified couch potato who loves to lounge around on the coach. He loves treats(salmon is his favorite), catnip, catnip filled toys and card board boxes. So don't throw those boxes away! Give them to Maxo and he'll make sure to make good use of them! Maxo isn't much of a fan of strangers and can get spicy towards others. He's a total introvert who likes to stay inside, eat treats and would come when called. Maxo loves card board scratchers and may need other things to strach to keep him entertained. 6/16 Per owner: Owner has been keeping Max separate from any person who comes into the home for the last year or so, so has not bit/scratched in that long. Owner reported that he will hiss and swat at anyone except owner, will draw blood if scratches due to his nails. If he is touched, he will bite. Owner also noted "Scratching on furniture/carpets, Aggression towards people, Aggression towards children, Urinating outside the litter box or "marking"." Per owner: Maxo has bitten someone before, and have bitten/scratched/hissed at any person besides owner. Has not been around any other animal.
