But if their journey so far is any indication, we have no doubt they're up to the challenge. At just three weeks old, these puppies were being offered for free on Facebook because their family was facing eviction. When offered help, thankfullyĀtheir owner agreed, giving this little family the chance they desperately needed.ĀWhen Mom arrived, she was heartbreakingly thin, with little body condition left to support herself while nursing her growing puppies. Shortly afterward, she became critically ill with a severe infection that nearly claimed her life. Thanks to intensive veterinary care and around-the-clock treatment, she pulled through—a true miracle. The puppies were weaned at five weeks and have absolutely thrived in their incredible foster homeĀever since, while Mom has made an incredible recovery. Now it's these little stars' turn to shine! ĀThis playful, happy bunch has left their difficult beginning behind them. They've been raised in a loving foster home, are well-socialized, and are growing into confident, affectionate puppies who are ready to start the next chapter of their lives. Their story is also an important reminder that even well-loved family dogs don't need to have puppies. Pregnancy, nursing, and raising a litter can place an enormous strain on a mother's body, and complications can become life-threatening in the blink of an eye. These puppies are proof that even the toughest beginnings can have the happiest endings. Now all they need are loving families to make the rest of their story just as wonderful!
