26-0218 Dala We were all hoping Dalas shelter story had come to an end. Recently adopted, Dala settled into her new home and quickly won over the heart of her adopter. Unfortunately, the resident cat and Dala were never able to comfortably coexist, and despite giving it time and trying to make it work, her adopter made the difficult decision to return her. What stood out most during the return was how much her adopter loved her. She described Dala as an amazing companion who greeted her every morning with gentle head butts and affection. Dala was so happy to be in a home & loved. At 8 years old, Dala is everything people say they want in a cat. Shes affectionate, social, confident, and LOVES being around people. Walk through our cat room and youll hear her chirping for attention, hoping youll stop by her kennel for a visit. She doesnt hide. She doesnt make you earn her trust. She simply wants to love and be loved. What she needs now is someone willing to see just how special she is and give her the forever home she deserves. Dala would do great in a single pet home.
