Meet Raquel. Raquel is a baby female Domestic Short Hair looking for a patient and understanding home. With a past that’s been challenging, she’s still learning to trust people and may appear shy or fearful when meeting new faces. Additional socialization will be key for her as she adjusts to a new environment. Originally a community cat, Raquel was meant to be returned through a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program but instead found her way to our shelter. She’s been fully vetted and is ready for adoption. While her pictures might not showcase her best side—she can be nervous in the shelter—what matters most is finding her a loving forever home where she can build confidence over time. With patience and a little extra love, Raquel has the potential to be a wonderful companion. She gets along well with other cats but does not do well with dogs or children.
