Meet Jackie. Jackie is looking for a patient and understanding home. Having faced challenges in life, she’s still learning to trust people and can be shy or fearful when meeting new folks. This means she’ll need additional socialization and time to adjust to a new environment. Originally a community cat, Jackie was scheduled to be returned through a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program but was surrendered to our shelter instead, giving her a chance to find a permanent home. She has been fully vetted and is ready for adoption. It’s important to note that Jackie’s photos may not capture her best side; frightened in the shelter environment, cats like her often shy away from the camera. We believe it's more crucial to find her a supportive home than to wait for that perfect photo. With patience, consistency, and a bit of love, Jackie has the potential to become a wonderful companion. She’s simply looking for someone to give her the chance she deserves. Every animal deserves a happy ending. This one starts with you.
