Meet Jackie Jackie is looking for a patient and understanding home. Having had a difficult start in life, they are still learning to trust people and may be shy or fearful when meeting new individuals. Because of this, Jackie will need additional socialization and time to adjust to a new environment. Originally a community cat, Jackie was scheduled to be returned through a Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program but was instead surrendered to our shelter for the opportunity to find a permanent home. Since arriving, Jackie has been fully vetted and is now ready for adoption. We also want to acknowledge that the photos are not the best quality. Cats like Jackie are often frightened in the shelter environment and are not always comfortable being photographed. Rather than wait for perfect pictures, we felt it was more important to begin the search for a home where they can continue to build confidence and thrive. With patience, consistency, and a little extra love, Jackie has the potential to become a wonderful companion. They are simply looking for someone willing to give them the chance they deserve.
