Meet Liberty! Liberty's story started with a detour, but we think it led her exactly where she was meant to be. Born around April 2nd, Liberty and her brother arrived at the shelter as strays. When her brother was adopted and she was left behind on her own, we just couldn't let that be the end of her story. So Liberty officially became a Misfit. Now she's thriving in a loving foster home, where she's learning all the important puppy thingslike potty training (which she's already doing amazingly well!), good manners, and how wonderful it is to be part of a family. She's being raised around children and other dogs, and she's proving to be exactly what every puppy should be: sweet, social, curious, and full of love. We believe Liberty is a shepherd mix and will likely grow into a beautiful big girl in the 60-70 pound range. She's fluffy, snuggly, incredibly people-oriented, and always eager to please. The kind of puppy who looks at you like you're the most important thing in the world. She's also a big fan of belly rubs and will happily roll over to collect every ounce of affection you're willing to give. Because she's still so young, Liberty has all the potential in the world. She should do well with other dogs, cats, and children when introduced appropriately, and she's at the perfect age to continue learning and growing alongside her forever family. She's smart, highly trainable, and absolutely loves being part of whatever her people are doing.
