About Oddy
Oddy is a young Dachshund mix who came from a hoarding situation. He is understandably frightened and will need a patient home that understands he may take time to adjust. Oddy tends to try and escape, so a privacy fence is preferred to keep him safe. Quick movements can scare him, so he’s not suited for homes with young children. The good news is, once Oddy feels comfortable, he is a sweet and playful pup at heart. He requires a family committed to helping with socialization and building his confidence. This will be a gradual journey, but with the right love and guidance, Oddy is poised to become a fantastic companion. Located in Cookeville, TN, Oddy is available through Tennessee Dachshund Rescue.
