MAISIE is a very sweet and wonderful senior (10-years old) calico girl who lost her person and now has to live behind bars due to the mean dog at the daughter's house. Masie is not used to being shut away and she sure doesn't deserve it, so the daughter wants to find her a new home where she can be happy and free and loved by everyone. She updated all her vaccines, and all her bloodwork is good and in normal range. She is on a little diet to get her down to a better weight, and it's working! She is already 1 pound down from her original paperwork in 2023. The vet also shaved her mats off. Maisie is very affectionate, with periods alternating between quietly hanging out in nooks and crannies, and then pawing gently and trying to get on your lap, wanting lots of petting, and occasionally gets the zoomies when the mood strikes. What a precious girl!!! She enjoys being brushed so her new person will be able to keep the mats at bay. Her previous person just did not have the capacity to care for her properly. Masie is spayed, up to date on shots, and good with her litterbox. Please consider sharing your heart and home with Masie. She is a lovely girl and a wonderful companion.
