Anubis is an eight-year old husky who was surrendered to SCAS when his family was relocating and couldn't take him... Now entering his golden years, this guy still has plenty of spunk and has lived with both dogs and cats; per his previous owner, proper introductions are necessary when meeting unfamiliar animals. Anubis is housebroken, has lived with young children, and is a good car-rider and gentleman when it comes to getting bathed. He is understandably very confused here at the shelter and is hoping that his forever is not far off. As Anubis is not yet neutered, adopters must currently live in Stafford, Caroline, Culpeper, Spotsylvania, Fauquier, Prince William, King George, or the City of Fredericksburg. His adoption fee is $45 and adoptions are conducted on a first-come, first-served basis.
