Schitt's Creek: Johnny
AvailableAbout Schitt's Creek: Johnny
Johnny is handsome, dressed up in his designer fluffy tabby stripes, complete with ear tufts and plumed tail. He does follow the lead of friendly cats and would make a lonely cat a wonderful companion. Johnny's prequel wasn't easy, so he's extremely cautious, but like his namesake, he's optimistic in his attempt to rebuild his life. His optimism and curiosity wins over and he wants to be around where the other cats are... but remember please, he still is timid, so he won't yet come to you. he may run if you try to touch him, though when you can he loves it, he's just nervous about it all - still can you really resist those big eyes, beautiful fluff and cinnamon nose! He would do best in a home with adults only and absolutely needs another cat in the household. Let's help Johnny Rose conclude his story arc and move into his forever family home! Timids like Johnny are not feral, they are shy for a variety riety of reasons but are comforted by being indoors. Still what you see is what they will be like for a long time, maybe always. Some will change more than others, but be prepared for what you see now. What to expect with timids like him: - They are great with other cats! They are used to living with other cats, bond easily with other cats, get and give comfort to other cats. - They live in your home, but are rarely seen - visitors will probably never see them. They are cats who live with you, and who may sometimes grant you the opportunity to touch them. Or, they may not. They may never be comforted by your touch, though over time, with patience and care, one day often something switches and they find you are their true person. Still don't expect them to magically turn around into a social house cat with everyone else. Though, they may choose to hang out near you, or sleep on the bed with you at night. - They are a fine choice for situations where you don't have a lot of time to devote to a pet - most of these kitties do not need or want much attention from people. They will not be a good choice for busy homes, including those with children. You can see more pictures and videos of our fosters on our facebook page: Sophia L'Orange Kitten Rescue All of our adoptable animals are cared for and assessed in foster homes (we do not have a shelter), up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV, before they are adopted.
