About Gingersnap
Gingersnap, also affectionately known as Ginger or Gingey, is a delightful 9-year-old Pekingese mix weighing 9 lbs. Rescued from the streets of Houston, she brings a vibrant energy and playful spirit to her foster home. Despite her past, Gingersnap radiates confidence and warmth, enjoying playtime with small dogs, particularly one special friend in her foster family. This charming girl is house-trained and crate-trained, showing no signs of separation anxiety. She’s the sort of pup who appreciates a cozy crate as her relaxation spot and loves her neighborhood strolls or playful zoomies. Gingersnap is excellent on the leash and enjoys car rides, making her a great companion for adventures. While she’s friendly and confident, she can be startled by sudden movements. Therefore, a quieter home, free of young kids, would suit her best. Gingersnap is currently undergoing heartworm treatment and is expected to be ready for her forever home in September.
