Meet SABRE! Sabre is a handsome 2-year-old Pit Bull mix with a zest for life and a heart full of love! This happy-go-lucky boy is fantastic with other dogs and has never met a stranger. In fact, he's so friendly with other dogs that his previous shelter often used him to help evaluate whether the other dogs were dog-friendly. He greets everyone with enthusiasm and excitement, so we recommend a home with older children who can handle his energetic personality! Sabre is incredibly smart and highly food motivated, making training both fun and rewarding. He already knows several commands, including sit, shake, and lay down, and he's eager to learn more for a tasty treat. One of Sabre's favorite things here has been spending time in our outdoor play yards, where he can run, explore, and burn off some energy. After some playtime, he's more than happy to come back to our volunteers for pets and belly rubs. Sabre would thrive in an active home that can include him in daily adventures, whether that's hiking, walks around the neighborhood, road trips, or simply exploring the world together.
