Imagine opening your front door for just a few minutes, only to find out later that a tiny, resourceful feline had quietly marched right in, carrying her four newborn babies one by one. That is exactly how Faiths journey to us began. Found in Wyomissing, this petite girl is barely a year old herself and weighs only about six to seven pounds. She was just a baby having babies. Before sneaking indoors to save her litter, she was believed to be an abandoned neighborhood cat, wandering from yard to yard while friendly neighbors fed and pet her. Faith proved to be an incredibly dedicated and protective mother, though her gentle soul still allowed her human caretakers to handle her. Sadly, her body went through a lot, and she developed a severe case of mastitis. For her own health, she had to be separated from her kittens, who were about eight weeks old at the time. Thankfully, a wonderful foster momma stepped up to care for her and her babies, and a kind vet tech made sure they were all safely brought to the local vet. All of those hard days are officially behind her now. Faith is currently very shy, which is no surprise given everything she has been through. She needs an understanding, patient home that will grant her the time and space she needs to learn to trust humans again. With the right family who lets her be herself and shows her what true love is all about, we are absolutely certain this resilient little girl will truly shine. The Important Stuff: Faith is fully spayed prior to adoption and is up to date on all needed vaccines. She is microchipped and has been individually tested for FIV and FeLV. Ready to adopt? We prefer kittens be adopted in pairs - double the fun! Adoption donation is currently $150 per kitten or pair for $250 if under 6 months. 6 months to a year, $125 each or pair for $200. Over a year $100. All cats / kittens have been individually, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, spayed, or neutered, micro chipped, and have received all age-appropriate vaccinations.
