Meet Whimsy, a 5-year-old, 10-pound Chihuahua new to the pack. Curious, confident, and independent, she's the kind of dog who enjoys exploring her surroundings and then settling in for a cuddle when she's ready. She loves affection but isn't the clingy type. Whimsy is perfectly happy to spend time near her people while still doing her own thing. Whimsy is highly food motivated, which makes training time fun. She's already crate trained and knows the basics, and she's eager to keep learning. Whimsy is also house trained when kept on a consistent schedule. Whimsy enjoys spending time outdoors, sniffing around the backyard, and entertaining herself by tossing toys into the air. She currently lives with another dog and enjoys canine companionship and playtime. Like many dogs, Whimsy values her snacks! She can be a little feisty around food and may give another dog a warning if she thinks they're getting too close to her treats or food bowl.
