We have a HOUND DOG :) Meet Laney! She's a gorgeous 4-year-old Treeing Walker Coonhound who is fully grown at 40 lbs. She has a super-sniffer nose, signature hound ears, and the sweetest disposition! Laney is used to being an outdoor dog, but she is very smart and loves being around people! She lived previously with kids between the ages of 6-12, whom she adored and loved playing with. She also lived with both large and small dogs, whom she loved and played with often! If you already have a resident dog, we offer dog-to-dog introductions at KHS to ensure it's a good fit before adopting. She's very happy and healthy, but does have one discolored tooth that may need an extraction. Unfortunately, our shelter lacks the resources to perform dentistry, and we recommend her adopters find a primary vet to discuss dental care.
