This island girl traveled all the way from Barbados to Connecticut with some of her feline friends in search of a loving furever home. One of her travel companions, Lucy, an equally adorable calico, is still looking for her family too! Chrissy is a shy and sensitive soul who feels most comfortable around other animals as opposed to people. She gets along wonderfully with both cats and dogs, but when people are nearby, she's more likely to retreat to her favorite hiding spot. She'll need a patient and understanding adopter who will allow her to blossom at her own pace. Chrissy isn't the type of cat who will demand attention right away, but with time, consistency, and love, she'll learn that people can be trusted. Because other cats help her feel safe and confident, Chrissy must be adopted into a home with another friendly feline companion or adopted with Lucy. She's currently living in a busy foster home with teenagers, but we believe she would thrive in a quieter environment where she can build her confidence without feeling overwhelmed.
