Meet Tristan! Tristan is a 2-year-old, 60 lb sweetheart who was found wandering the streets by himself. He was anxious but sweet when he first arrived at the shelter, but he's come a long way and is now one of our cuddliest dogs. His favorite thing in the world is being with people. Tristan is incredibly affectionate and isn't shy about showing it. He may hop up from time to time, but it's usually because he'd like to give you a hug... and if you're not careful, he might sneak in a kiss, too. He's a great leash walker, already knows sit, and seems like the kind of dog who would really enjoy training. He responds well to cues and appears eager to work with his people. Tristan is also happy to see other dogs and can often be spotted wagging his tail when he passes them. Friendly, affectionate, and ready to be someone's best buddy, Tristan is more than ready for a home of his own. As always, we strongly recommend that resident dogs meet any new potential canine family members. If bringing a resident dog for a dog to dog test, please bring proof of Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines.
