Meet Derby! Derby is a beautiful grey tabby estimated to be about 2 years old who was found as a street cat caring for her three kittens. She and her babies were quickly brought into a loving foster home, where she did an amazing job raising them. Now that her kittens are weaned and her mom duties are complete, Derby is ready for a forever home of her own. This sweet girl has truly blossomed into a street cat turned house cat and has learned how much she loves the comfort and safety of indoor life. She enjoys lounging around, soaking up attention, and being near her people, especially when it comes with gentle pets. Derby is also quite vocal and isn't shy about letting you know when she wants love or company. While she enjoys the indoor life, she can still show a bit of curiosity about the outdoors, so she will need a home that keeps her safely inside. Derby does not do well with dogs, but she is comfortable with certain other cats and has done fine around children. Derby is a sweet, affectionate girl who is ready to leave her past behind and settle into a calm, loving home where she can be cherished the way she deserves.
