Meet Parker: A Gorgeous, Playful Shadow ready to be your best friend! At about one year old, this gorgeous dilute calico with a magnificent tail has already been through a lot, having raised three litters of kittens of her own before her first birthday. Now that she's spayed and pampered, she is finally getting to enjoy being a kitten herself! Parker is an absolute sweetheart who is very friendly. In fact, she walked right up to her rescuer and let them pick her up without hesitation. While she is more independent and isn't much of a lap cat or a snuggler, she deeply loves her people. She will happily be your little shadow, following you from room to room. If she loses track of you, she'll give a little call, but as soon as you say her name, she'll come running. Parkers Ideal Home: A Playmate: Parker has lots of energy and gets along great with children and most cats. She loves to play and would thrive in a home with another playful feline friend (with proper introductions, of course!). Indoor Safety: This girl is a curious explorer. She will inspect everything including the inside of your fridge! Because she loves the outdoors, she is a bit of an escape artist. Her forever family will need to be mindful of open doors and ensure windows have sturdy, doubled-up screens. A Room with a View: Parker is obsessed with bird and squirrel watching, so a home with window perches and plenty of backyard wildlife is a huge plus. Active Play Partners: She needs multiple play sessions a day burn off her energy. She is young and active, so daily mental and physical stimulation is a must. She thrives on engagement and needs a family committed to regular playtimes so she stays her best, most content self. Her favorites include climbers, chasing balls and whack a mole. When she wants food or playtime, she isn't afraid to use her "powerful scream-meow" to demand your attention! House Rules? What Rules?: Parker has little boundaries countertops are fair game and she will follow to you to the bathroom. Health Note: Parker is currently exhibiting mild signs of asthma and will occasionally have sneeze attacks after eating. While it doesn't slow her down, her adopters should be prepared for potential future vet visits to monitor and manage her breathing if it worsens. Parker is about 1 year old, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea/worm treated, and FIV/FeLV negative. This fun-loving sweet pea is going to bring so much life and laughter to her future home. Apply to adopt Parker today - she wont be available for long! Since Parker required dental work to remove a broken K9, we are asking for an adoption fee of $250 for her to help cover costs.
