About Miss Mango
Miss Mango is a low-energy, incredibly affectionate dog who thrives on human companionship. She adores kids and has a gentle nature that shines in every interaction. This sweet girl doesn’t ask for much—just a warm meal, some tasty treats, and lots of love in return. Fully house trained and an excellent leash walker, Miss Mango has made great progress overcoming her separation anxiety. Although she prefers not to be crated, she's been calm and non-destructive while uncrated. Her favorite things include napping on the softest blankets, sunbathing in the grass, and joining you at breweries or coffee shops. At nine years old, she weighs 65 pounds and is believed to have some Rhodesian Ridgeback in her lineage. Rescued from tough conditions in Mexico, she walks with the aid of her left front paw and hind legs after losing her right front paw. Despite her challenges, Miss Mango remains joyful and loves a good stroll around the neighborhood or a relaxing day at the beach. She does well with friendly interactions from kids and may get along with smaller dogs if introduced slowly. A mellow home with plenty of company would be ideal for her as she continues to work through her anxiety.
